Q:Why did you make this competition?
A:Because I personally love these kinds of competition, and enter all that I have found. Which is two- one on mutedfaith.com (my entry to that can be found here) and one on Lexical. (can be found here) I didn't win either (although admittedly, Lexical's hasn't been marked as of today, 10/11/04) Anyway, I really enjoy competitions like that, and hoping that others would too, I made this'un. Plus I'm an overachiever of the worst (but sexiest) kind.

Q: How do you come up with the stimulus?
A: Well, for the first few competitions, they'd be thought of on the spot, whatever was floating through my mind at the time (which explains why when I was horrendeously tired, the stimulus were bad.) However from the 6th competition onwards, 6 of the stimulus will be suggested by the winners from the previous competition, and you can win the ability to suggest stimulus by submitting trophies or a decent name for "The Competition". The rest, however, will still come from my mind, but now I've got a text file running where I write down stimulus as they come to me, to save myself embarrassment like the 4th competition.

Q: Stimulus or stimuli? You seem to change a lot
A: I have no idea. That's why I change a lot.

Q: Why'd you change from the 5 definite stimulus to the 15 optional stimulus with theme?
A: There were two reasons..
  1. It was apparently quite hard for budding artists to use all 5 stimulus in a picture, especially since some of them were quite writer-oriented. This way I feel it's fairer for both artists and writers.
  2. In the case that all/some of the stimuli were absolute crap, I didn't want the poor entrants to be stuck with them.
Also, from the point of view of an entrant, the more you have to work with, the more fun it is. Personally, I'd try to get all 15 of them into every entry if I were entering.

Q: Who are you, and do you by any chance sell DVDs that I could purchase at a reasonable price?

A: Why, I'm Peter C. Hayward Esq, and yes! I do! I sell DVDs based around characters that my cousin and I made up- the Chainsaw Blokes. These can be purchased at The Chainsaw Bloke Official Electronic Internet Website Home Front Page!

Really though, I'm just a 16 yearold student who is an over achiever to the point of exhaustion. I do too much by far...in fact, while typing this, I should be in bed due to exams and my party and my comic and other things that I should be doing. Visit my
website that links to all my other websites for details of the too much that I do. As you can tell, I have excellent grammar and I'm skilled in the skill of sentence structure.

Q: When will you finally come to your senses and confess your undying love for me?
A: When you get around to entering my competition.

The Competition is hosted by The Chainsaw Bloke Official Electronic Internet Website Home Front Page and run by Peter C. Hayward
